August 18, 2010

New York NY - Columbia Artists Management Inc is pleased to announce the appointment of Benjamin Maimin to its team of national booking representatives where he will be working with performing arts presenters in California, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico on behalf of CAMI's distinguished roster of artists and touring projects (www.cami.com).

He will succeed Celina Guerrero, who leaves CAMI in September to pursue graduate studies.

In announcing the appointment, CAMI President Tim Fox said, "Ben is a high energy performing arts enthusiast and we're very fortunate to be able to welcome him to our booking department. He has distinguished himself since joining CAMI in the spring and with Celina's upcoming departure, Ben was a natural choice to succeed her. We're eager to introduce him to western presenters at the upcoming WAA conference."

Benjamin Maimin is a recent graduate of McGill University where he studied political science & economics. He worked on the seasonal staff of the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood for the past six summers.
