Lotfi Mansouri

Along with his many friends and colleagues, CAMI was saddened to hear of the death of Lotfi Mansouri. He was an esteemed member of the CAMI family for over 35 years. For Lotfi, opera was a living, thriving artform and his time at CAMI was marked by his innovative productions, his brilliance for attracting new audiences and his dedication to young singers. Lotfi Mansouri will be remembered for many things, chief among them the creation of opera surtitles which he developed during his tenure at the Canadian Opera Company and are now found in most opera houses around the world.
